Located on Camperdown Campus at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science in The University of Sydney

Opportunity to work in an exciting, varied role where no two days are the same

Base Salary HEO3 Step 1 (38 hours per week) $82,388p.a. + 17% superannuation + premium loadings for after hours and weekend shifts

Your key responsibilities

- greet clients, schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and provide information on services
- managepatient intake,maintainaccuraterecords, and handle billing,insuranceand payments
- facilitateclear and efficient communication between clients and hospital staff to ensure seamless patient care, smooth workflow, and the efficient operation of daily activities
- addressclient concerns, resolve complaints, and conduct follow-ups to ensure satisfaction
- overseeoffice supplies,maintaina clean and organized reception area
- handlehigh-stress situations,prioritize urgent cases
- ensureconfidentiality, adhere to hospital policies, and follow regulatory guidelines
- work with a rotating5 daywork week with 2 days off per week. Available for rotating shift times according to Reception opening hours between 7am - Midnight MondaytoSunday.

About you

- prior experience working in a Veterinary Hospital highly desirable
- aCert IIinAnimal Care or higher(not essential, buthighly desirable)
- excellent time and workload management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes with attention to detail
- strong computer skills, with knowledge and experience inMS Office Suite,



RxWorksoranequivalent veterinary softwarehighlydesirable
- excellent interpersonal,verbaland written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of matters
- theability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work.
