A specialist boutique engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across Regional NSW, delivering practical and innovative Structural Engineering solutions for a diverse portfolio of Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects.

You will report directly to the Director and Senior Structural Engineer, working within a close-knit team of Engineers and a Draftsperson.

The consultancy has an office in Tamworth, which can be utilised as a central base if required. This position offers genuine flexibility and can be based from home anywhere in Regional NSW (north of Sydney), Newcastle, Tamworth or Sydney, provided you are willing to travel throughout Regional NSW for site inspections and client meetings.

About The Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Structural Site Engineer / Structural Project Engineer to join the team.

Working across projects throughout Regional NSW, primarily North Eastern NSW, you will conduct site visits and inspections from concept through to project completion.

While you will come from a Structural Engineering consultancy or design background, this prospect is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being out on site, working closely with clients and contractors, rather than being office-based full time.

We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator, professional in their approach, and enjoys building strong relationships with clients, builders, and project stakeholders.





A fully maintained company vehicle and fuel will be provided for travel to project sites throughout the region.

About The Candidate

Ideally, you will have:

- Around 3-4 years of Structural Engineering experience, ideally gained within Australia
- Experience conducting site visits and inspections across Residential, Commercial, and Industrial projects
- Previous experience working within a Structural Engineering consultancy or design environment
- Strong client-facing skills, with experience working alongside builders, architects, and other project stakeholders
- Confidence working on active construction sites
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, Council requirements, and relevant Engineering codes
- Demonstrated understanding of construction methodologies, specifications, engineering procedures, and construction techniques
- Full Australian Working Rights
