We're seeking an experienced APS6 Data Analyst to join a Federal Government agency delivering high-impact data solutions that support critical national services.

- Technical Skills: SQL, Python, SAS and/or R, EDW, data pipelines, data modelling, Snowflake, SAS Viya and Microsoft Fabric/Power BI

We're seeking an experienced APS6 Data Analyst to join a Federal Government agency delivering high-impact data solutions that support critical national services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain enterprise data assets and data products.
- Analyse, profile and validate complex data from multiple sources.
- Translate business requirements into coded data transformations.
- Develop prototypes and new data products to support business outcomes.
- Perform data quality assessment, testing and defect remediation.




- Present technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to code quality, documentation standards and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Support junior team members and contribute to collaborative problem solving.

You'll ideally bring experience with:

- Extensive data analysis across large, complex datasets.
- Strong programming skills in SQL and one or more of Python, SAS or R.
- Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
- Data modelling, data pipelines and reporting platform architecture.
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Working independently while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Building strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:

- Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
- SAS Viya.
- Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- A willingness to learn current analytics platforms and emerging technologies.
