About the Opportunity

Our client is an international clean energy technology company with an expanding presence across the Asia-Pacific region. Backed by a strong global platform, the business develops innovative residential energy storage solutions that help homeowners maximise energy independence through smart battery and home energy management technologies.

As part of its continued growth strategy, the company is looking to strengthen its commercial team by appointing experienced Sales Managers to expand its installer, distributor and channel partner network in Brisbane or Sydney.

About the Role

This is a customer-facing business development role responsible for identifying, developing and growing new channel partners within your assigned territory. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence, driving sales growth and building long-term relationships with distributors, installers and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Territory Growth

- Identify and develop new distributor, installer and reseller opportunities.
- Proactively generate new business through prospecting, cold calling and customer visits.
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies to achieve sales objectives.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through ongoing business development activities.

Channel Partner Management
- Recruit, onboard and support new distribution and installer partners.
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts and channel partners.
- Work collaboratively with partners to drive sales performance and market expansion.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.

Product & Commercial Support
- Deliver product presentations and technical sales training to channel partners.
- Support customers with product positioning, pricing and value proposition.




- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and customer engagement activities.

Sales Performance
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
- Provide regular market intelligence and customer feedback.
- Work closely with technical, operations and marketing teams to support business growth.

About You

- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or channel sales.
- Strong prospecting, cold-calling and relationship-building skills.
- Experience selling technical products, energy solutions or electrical equipment is highly regarded.
- Previous exposure to residential solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS) or the electrical industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable delivering product demonstrations and customer training.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven and able to work independently.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Mandarin language capability is highly preferred to effectively communicate with regional stakeholders and support collaboration across the wider APAC business.

Highly Regarded

- Experience within the residential solar PV, battery energy storage or renewable energy industry.
- Background in channel sales, distribution management or territory development.
- Existing network of solar installers, distributors or electrical wholesalers.
