Carsy Motors is looking for a confident, motivated and customer-focused Car Sales Consultant to join our growing dealership team.

We carry a constantly changing range of vehicles, from affordable everyday cars and hybrids through to 4WDs, European and performance vehicles. With new stock regularly arriving, we're looking for someone who can confidently engage with customers, follow up enquiries and turn opportunities into sales.

This is a full-time, ongoing position with the opportunity to earn more through performance and commissions.

About the Role

As a Car Sales Consultant, you'll be involved in the complete customer journey – from the first enquiry through to vehicle delivery.

Your responsibilities will include

- Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle requirements
- Responding to phone, online and social media sales enquiries
- Following up leads and prospective customers
- Showing customers vehicles and explaining features
- Conducting and assisting with test drives
- Negotiating and closing vehicle sales
- Following up customers who have previously enquired
- Working with our finance team to assist customers with finance enquiries
- Assisting with trade-in enquiries
- Keeping accurate records of leads and customer follow-ups
- Ensuring vehicles are presented and ready for customer appointments
- Building strong customer relationships and encouraging repeat and referral business
- Working towards individual and dealership sales targets

Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is naturally confident with people and genuinely enjoys sales.

Previous automotive or dealership sales experience is an advantage, but not essential. We are also interested in candidates from other sales environments who can demonstrate strong communication and closing ability.

- Are organised and able to manage multiple enquiries
- Have a professional and presentable appearance
- Are comfortable using phones, messaging, social media and online platforms
- Have a positive and competitive attitude
- Are reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Hold a valid Australian driver's licence

Experience in car sales, finance, real estate, retail sales, telecommunications or other commission-based sales roles will be highly regarded.
