Hybrid Working A major enterprise transformation program is underway within one of Australia's leading insurance organisations, focused on migrating from Salesforce Sales Cloud to Financial Services Cloud (FSC). This is a high-impact, offering genuine ownership and the opportunity to shape and lead delivery from the front.

This program requires a senior Salesforce leader with a strong engineering and architecture background — someone who has done this before, understands the complexity, knows what good looks like, and can lead a multi-disciplinary team with confidence.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading discovery activities and defining the FSC migration strategy and solution architecture
- Assessing the current Salesforce environment, customisations, technical debt, and migration complexity
- Acting as the senior delivery and technical lead across the program — driving standups, managing stakeholders, and unblocking teams
- Leading and working with a cross-functional team comprising a Technical Architect, Product Owner, Functional Analyst, Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Engineer, and multiple Business Analysts
- Setting technical direction, reviewing solution designs, and ensuring architectural integrity across the program
- Providing functional and technical coverage and guidance during key project transition periods
- Supporting data migration planning, FSC data model alignment, and integration design
- Remaining hands-on where needed while operating at a strategic delivery and architecture level
- Establishing delivery structure, governance, engineering standards, and best practice across the program

Essential Experience What We're Looking For

- Strong Salesforce engineering and architecture background with hands-on platform depth




- Proven end-to-end experience delivering Salesforce Sales Cloud → Financial Services Cloud (FSC) migrations
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing cross-functional Salesforce delivery teams including architects, engineers, admins, analysts, and BAs
- Strong delivery leadership capability within enterprise Salesforce environments
- Ability to operate autonomously and confidently within ambiguous or evolving programs
- Comfortable bridging technical architecture and functional delivery conversations
- Experience inheriting unfamiliar Salesforce environments and quickly identifying risks, dependencies, and migration challenges
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

Highly Desirable

- Insurance industry experience
- Exposure to commercial insurance, personal injury, or broker operations
- Experience within large Australian financial services organisations
- Salesforce DevOps exposure including CI/CD, version control, and scratch orgs
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data migration approaches and FSC data modelling
