Role Description The Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunshine Coast, QLD. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations and information in a clear, helpful manner. Day-to-day tasks include processing sales transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.

The Salesperson will respond to customer inquiries in person and over the phone, assist with basic product troubleshooting, and support inventory checks and stock replenishment.



The role also includes working with the wider team to meet sales targets, follow store procedures, and contribute to a positive, safe work environment.

Qualifications

- Solid customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse customers.
- Sales and retail experience, including handling point-of-sale systems, cash management, and meeting sales or performance targets.
- Basic product knowledge and willingness to learn about the company’s range to provide accurate information and recommendations.
- Organizational skills for maintaining store presentation, managing stock, and following established procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site full time, including potential weekend or holiday shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry out light manual handling tasks as required in a retail environment.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in a team and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.
- Previous experience in automotive or parts retail is beneficial but not required; ongoing training will be provided.
