SAP HCM Project Manager

Parramatta/Sydney Olympic Park – Sydney | Hybrid

Contract to June 2027 with a view to extend

We’re partnering with a large and well-established public sector organisation embarking on a significant enterprise transformation program. As part of this strategic initiative, an opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major SAP SuccessFactors Human Capital Management (HCM) Recruitment & On-boarding project.

This is a high-profile role delivering a contemporary recruitment and on-boarding solution that will streamline business processes, improve user experience and support a large, complex workforce.

The Role

Reporting into the Program Director, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a business-critical SAP SuccessFactors HCM project, overseeing planning, governance, implementation and transition into business-as-usual.

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, external vendors and the PMO to ensure successful project outcomes while managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large Recruitment & On-boarding transformation project.
- Manage project planning, governance, budgeting, scheduling and reporting.
- Engage and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and external vendors.
- Oversee systems integration,



business readiness and transition to operational support.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and financial performance.
- Ensure delivery aligns with organisational governance, compliance and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to optimise project outcomes.

About You To be successful, you’ll bring:

- Proven experience delivering large-scale ERP or enterprise ICT projects.
- Experience implementing Recruitment, On-boarding or SAP SuccessFactors Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise HR platforms, SAP ECC or integrated HR ecosystems.
- Experience managing systems integration, data migration and business process transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
- Demonstrated vendor and contract management experience.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing project financials, governance and benefits realisation.
- PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly regarded.
- Advanced Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office skills.
