Completions Engineer | 3-Month Contract | Brisbane CBD | $700/Day

We are seeking an experienced Completions Engineer to join the delivery team on the final stages of a landmark civil infrastructure project in Brisbane CBD.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful completion of one of Brisbane's most significant infrastructure projects, working alongside a high-performing project team during the critical close-out phase.

The Role

This is a 3-month contract offering an immediate start. Based primarily in the project office, you will be responsible for managing the completion and handover process across a designated section of the project. Working closely with construction, quality and client stakeholders, you will ensure work lots are completed, documented and closed out efficiently to meet project milestones and handover requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the completion and close-out of work lots within your allocated project area.
- Coordinate inspections, testing and verification activities.
- Identify, manage and close defects in collaboration with site teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure all quality documentation and completion records are accurate and compliant.
- Liaise with construction,



engineering and client representatives to achieve timely handover.
- Monitor completion progress and drive the resolution of outstanding items.
- Support the successful delivery of project completion and final handover.

About You

- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years' post-graduate experience delivering major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience in a Completions Engineer or close-out focused role.
- Strong experience managing work lot completions, quality documentation and defect rectification.
- Proven experience working for a Tier 1 contractor on large-scale construction projects.
- Experience delivering projects within a Brownfield environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
