The Role You'll primarily be based in Broomeperforming a mix of inpatient and outpatient echocardiography, with opportunities to travel to remote communities supporting outreach cardiology services.

Working Hours

- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 30-minute lunch break





Daily Workload

- Approximately 10–12 patients per day
- Standard appointment times of 45 minutes
- Outreach/community clinics typically 30-minute appointments

Outreach Opportunities

Be part of an important service delivering cardiac care across the Kimberley. Depending on the roster, you may travel to:

- Derby
- Fitzroy Crossing
- Kununurra
- Halls Creek
- Wyndham
- Surrounding remote communities

Outreach trips generally run for 2–3 days and offer a unique chance to experience some of Australia's most spectacular remote landscapes while making a genuine impact on local communities.

Requirements

- Accredited Cardiac Sonographer
- Current ASAR accreditation
- Previous echocardiography experience
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
- A passion for rural and remote healthcare is highly regarded
