As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Contract Administrator – Commercial to join our team. This is more than a traditional Contract Administrator role—it offers the opportunity to become a key commercial partner, driving project success from procurement through to final account.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of multiple commercial fitout projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the commercial performance of allocated projects
- Administering head contracts and subcontract agreements
- Preparing and managing progress claims, variations and extensions of time
- Procuring and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Managing project budgets, committed costs and Cost to Complete (CTC) forecasting
- Monitoring project margins and identifying commercial risks and opportunities
- Preparing monthly commercial reporting and forecasting
- Managing subcontractor claims, payments and final accounts
- Supporting project handovers from preconstruction through to delivery
- Working closely with Finance on WIP,



cash flow and project reporting
- Maintaining commercial registers, procurement schedules and contract documentation
- Supporting dispute avoidance and commercial resolution

About You

You are a commercially focused construction professional who enjoys being involved in the financial success of projects.
You'll bring:

- 5+ years' experience in Contract Administration, Commercial Management or a similar role
- Experience within commercial construction, ideally Design & Construct or commercial fitout
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and subcontract administration
- Experience managing procurement, variations, claims and extensions of time
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse project financial performance
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting and cost control
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and robust organisational ability
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Procore, CostX, Hammertech or similar project management systems (advantageous)
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline (preferred)
