The Fish Factory is excited to announce a job opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our team! Working from our base in Morningside and reporting directly to the General Manager, you will help service our pre-existing client based and expand our business across the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Cost regions. This role offers the successful candidate high flexibility in the role, with a hybrid working style. The successful candidate will have a passion for seafood and a natural ability to build long-lasting relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Previous experience with Japanese cuisine is highly advantageous. Being an industry professional in the foodservice sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s success through growth opportunities and ongoing customer relations. The role includes a competitive base salary, bonus structure, company vehicle, fuel card, mobile & laptop.

Your role

Working full-time, this role will see you become the face of the business to your allocated client segment. Expanding The Fish Factory brand to new clients, along with working hard to maintain long standing relationships, you will share a passion for our fresh and frozen seafood product and be a quick learner in the field. You will work part of a vibrant and culturally diverse team, joining an established team of Sales Executive’s overseen by the General Manager. Setting achievable KPIs, this role is best suited to a driven individual, who is results based and looking for continued growth within a quick-growing business.

The main responsibilities of the position are:

- · Generation of new business
- · To liaise with and maintain ongoing relationships and communication with key accounts.
- · Identify and target potential customers through research, networking and prospecting
- · Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our offerings
- · Meet and exceed sales targets
- · Ability to generate sales reports and identify trends
- · Other sales driven activities as required

Experience, qualifications & personal attributes

- 1. Industry professional specialising in foodservice
- 2. Great communication and interpersonal skills
- 3. Must be attentive to customer/client needs and determined to provide customer/client satisfaction
- 4. Ability to organise, prioritise, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines
- 5. Advanced level knowledge of sales and customer services routines
- 8. Work well with others and be a team player
- 9. Strong work ethic
- 1. Extensive sales experience within seafood.
- 2. Experience within the hospitality industry
- 3. Japanese-speaking & experience with Japanese cuisine
