What’s the opportunity?

As our Scheduling Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, productive and reliable underground mining operations.



Working closely with Operations and Technical Services teams, you'll develop and maintain short-term mine schedules that support production targets and operational readiness.

Based at our Northparkes Operations and reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, you’ll:

- Develop and maintain weekly development and production schedules.
- Monitor schedule performance, analyse variances and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Technical teams to ensure plans are achievable and aligned.
- Prepare and issue mine designs, maintaining accurate planning data and version control.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks and constraints to support safe and efficient execution.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, safety and operational excellence.
