- HEW 6 salary + 17% superannuation

About The Role The Scheduling Specialist plays a key role in the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of academic and examination timetables across the University. Reporting to the Manager, Scheduling Services, you will provide specialist scheduling advice, system support, data analysis and reporting to ensure accurate, efficient and clash-free timetables are delivered. You will also support timetable production, timetable changes, ad hoc and event bookings, and the planning and coordination of invigilated examinations.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across Scheduling Services, Student Administration and the wider University, coming with strong stakeholder engagement skills, you will build strong relationships with academic and professional stakeholders, including Associate Deans, Department Chairs and Unit Convenors, to provide expert advice on complex scheduling matters.

About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines and work under pressure

- Highly developed stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence outcomes and build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups

- Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills

- Demonstrated experience in the administration, testing, implementation and continuous improvement of business systems, including database management and advanced use of Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications A degree in a relevant area of study, with at least five years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant University experience and education/training
