As our services continue to expand, we’re growing our Operations Team and have multiple opportunities available for motivated and organized individuals to help coordinate rostering and scheduling that keeps our services running smoothly.
Join Lumia Care and play a key role in ensuring our clients receive the right support at the right time. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you'll manage workforce rosters, coordinate shift allocations, and respond to changing client and staffing needs to keep services running smoothly.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate with care teams to deliver accurate, timely schedules that align with client requirements, funding and service priorities. What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating staff rosters and schedules to meet service demands
- Managing calls, emails, and scheduling updates efficiently
- Working collaboratively across departments to ensure seamless operations
- Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all scheduling tasks
- Contributing to a positive and solutions-focused team culture
- Working across an after-hour roster for 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm Weekend Hours Only
What You'll Bring
- Healthcare rostering experience – Experience rostering Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), and managing a casual workforce.
- Strong communicator – You build positive relationships and communicate confidently with staff and managers.
- Tech-savvy – Confident using rostering and workforce management systems.
- Organized and proactive – You manage competing priorities, make decisions quickly, and keep things running smoothly.
- Problem solver – You adapt to changing staffing needs and find practical solutions.
- Detail-oriented – You ensure rosters are accurate, compliant, and meet operational needs.
Additional Requirements
- Valid National Police Clearance
- Evidence of minimum 2 COVID vaccinations
- Annual influenza vaccination
