The Canteen Assistant assists in the day-to-day operations of the canteen and will perform a range of tasks in relation to its operation, including:

- the preparation of hot and cold food and snacks




- putting together lunch orders
- over the counter cash register sales with students during break times
- cleaning
- working alongside volunteers who help in the canteen
- supporting the Canteen Manager
