The Australian Digital Health Agency leads the national effort to digitally enable Australia’s health system. We support the delivery of person-centred, connected healthcare through the development and adoption of digital health services and systems. Our work includes managing My Health Record, Electronic prescriptions, and the 1800MEDICARE app, ensuring a healthier future for all Australians through connected healthcare.

Our opportunity

The Transformation Office leads priority work to strengthen the Agency’s operating model, business process improvement, enterprise change capability and broader internal transformation agenda. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Director, Organisational Change Management leads the Agency’s enterprise change management capability and provides strategic direction, practical assurance and hands-on leadership across a portfolio of transformation, digital, workforce and operating model changes. The role ensures change impacts are understood early, adoption risks are visible.

What you need

To be successful in either opportunity, you will need to possess the following:





- Provide strategic leadership for the Agency's organisational change and transformation agenda, leading a high-performing team and translating enterprise priorities into practical, sustainable outcomes.
- Manage and develop a small multidisciplinary team, setting priorities, building capability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and effective change leadership.
- Drive change planning, stakeholder engagement, business readiness, communications, learning, adoption, and implementation activities to support sustainable outcomes.
- Identify, assess, and manage transformation impacts, dependencies, risks, and organisational readiness to inform decision-making and successful delivery.
- Build strong relationships with executives, project teams, business areas, and key stakeholders to provide strategic advice, manage complex issues, and support informed decision-making.
- Continuously improve transformation methodologies, tools, reporting, and governance processes, applying lean, agile, and human-centred approaches to drive effective change.

Salary: $148,641- $175,981 plus 15.4% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.

The position may be filled in Brisbane, Sydney or Canberra, and other locations may be considered.
