IMMEDIATE START - working Monday and Tuesday - 14-15 hrs a week from 6am to 1pm.

We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef/Cook to join our vibrant team at Hand of Fatima Cafe in Peregian Beach, QLD. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a unique breakfast/brunch experience on the Sunshine Coast. Our menu changes every season with 5 items on the menu. Please only apply if you are currently living on Sunshine Coast.

What you'll be doing

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to our high standards
- Ensure food is presented in an appetising and visually appealing manner
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies for food items
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef/Cook in a similar breakfast cafe (must be able to poach eggs)
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced workplace




- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain
- Must have the right to work in Australia
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred or relevant culinary qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
