With showrooms in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane, Australian Furniture Designer and Manufacturer, Arthur G is looking to expand the sales team at their flagship showroom in Melbourne.

Arthur G is family owned and operated, designing and manufacturing furniture for more than 45 years. Craftsmanship, design, and client relationships are at the heart of everything we do. At our Richmond showroom, you'll join a close-knit, experienced team - working with clients who are genuinely invested in the pieces they choose. We're excited to welcome a new consultant into the fold.

We are seeking a Full Time (4 days), Sales Consultant to join our Melbourne Showroom team, located on Church St, Richmond. The successful applicant will be based in the showroom, contributing to the day-to-day operation of the showroom, and providing sales assistance to new and existing clients.

This is a client-facing role that suits someone with a genuine eye for design and the organisational ability to manage a sale from first conversation to final delivery. You'll work closely with retail and trade clients, and collaborate regularly with our Head Office, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane teams.

Role Requirements:

2+ years' experience in furniture sales or similar sales role

Full Time (4 days per week).





Must be able to work one weekend day per week.

Provide exceptional customer service solutions to retail and trade clients.

Maintain existing and generate recent client relationships, through positive customer service relationships.

Manage end to end sales for retail and commercial clients comprising of:

Quoting, invoicing, sample recommendations, delivery and after sales service and site visits (where necessary).

Contribute to monthly KPIs

Assist with day-to-day showroom tasks including but not limited to:

Respond to phone and email enquiries in a timely manner, general administration tasks, sampling organisation and maintaining a high standard of showroom presentation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Friendly, personable and customer service orientated.

Organised with a high attention to detail.

Genuine curiosity for new designs, upholsteries, and design trends

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience using Sketch-up and Hubspot is a bonus.

A degree in interior design / architecture is a bonus.
