Job Title: Sales Manager, APAC (Battery Storage Software)

Location: Australia, remote.

The Opportunity

Australia is scaling grid-scale battery storage faster than almost anywhere on earth, with a connections pipeline now past 33GW. A global battery intelligence software business, already live on utility-scale sites across three continents, is planting its flag in the region and wants one commercially sharp operator to own APAC from an early base of clients and turn it into real market share. This is the first senior commercial hire on the ground, and the region will look the way this person builds it.

The Impact You Will Have

- Own the APAC number and build the pipeline that decides how fast the region grows.
- Sell straight to the people who buy: developers, owners, IPPs, O&M; providers and investors.
- Shape the product itself by feeding the market back in, not just relaying it.
- Set the commercial playbook for a region the business is still learning.
- Grow the team, and your own remit, as the numbers land.

What Success Looks Like

- You close. Deal speed is your signature, not long conversations that stall.
- You keep it simple,



so a genuinely complex product feels easy to adopt.
- You operate alone across a hard time zone and solve problems without waiting for head office.
- You have carried a real quota in energy, storage or infrastructure software, and hit it.
- You want to settle and build in this market, not pass through it.
