We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Gaming Duty Manager in preparation for the opening of Sharks Leagues Club scheduled for later this year. Initially, this role will join our team at Sharks at Kareela on a full-time basis and will transition to form part of the opening team for the new Sharks Leagues Club. This is a hands-on role reporting to the General Manager – Leagues Clubs, responsible for the day-to-day operation of the gaming room and ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality experience for our members and guests.
This is an exciting time to join the Sharks Group as we continue to grow, with the highly anticipated opening of Sharks Leagues scheduled for later this year. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a well-established venue at Kareela, while also contributing to the future of our broader hospitality offering.

Who We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will be confident, personable, and a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting. You will also:
- Hold current RSA, RCG, ARCG, First Aid and CPR certifications
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in hospitality management or a similar role
- Be self-motivated with a strong team-focused mindset
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and people management skills
- Possess a solid understanding of gaming and food & beverage operations, including relevant legislation
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to complete clear and accurate reporting
- Display sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Be available to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
