Dental All-Rounder – Dental Assisting & Front Desk
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive Dental All-Rounder to join our friendly team.
This is a full-time position combining both dental assisting and front desk responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is confident working across both clinical and administrative areas and is able to contribute positively to a busy dental practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures
- Preparing and setting up surgeries
- Cleaning, sterilisation and maintaining clinical areas
- Stock management and regular stocktakes
- Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service
- Managing appointments, recalls and patient enquiriesAnswering phones and general reception duties
- Processing payments and assisting with administrative tasks
- Supporting the clinical and reception teams as required
- Maintaining a professional and organised practice setting
What We’re Looking For
- Previous dental assisting experience is essential
- Previous dental reception/front desk experience is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident and professional manner with patients
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Adaptable and able to work effectively in a busy environment
- Quick learner with a positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and committed to the team
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Full working rights in Australia with no restrictions on working hours
