We combine industry knowledge, familiarity with development precincts, disciplined research methods, spatial analysis, and practical software and data tools. Our work includes masterplanning and pre-feasibility studies, development and design advice, economic impact assessment, expert witness services, acquisition strategies, sales forecasting, network planning, centre benchmarking and post-opening reviews.

Our reports are technically rigorous but written in clear, jargon-free language so that clients, decision-makers and communities can understand and use the findings.

Role Description We are looking for an experienced property economics, land economics, location strategy or market analysis professional to join our growing team. This role would suit someone who has already developed strong consulting disciplines and is looking for a more direct, hands-on role in a specialist firm with diverse project exposure and close access to senior decision-makers.

The role is hybrid, with flexibility to work from home on agreed designated days, with an expectation of participating in office-based collaboration, client meetings and site visits. What you will work on

Retail and commercial market assessments for proposed developments, redevelopments and network strategies.

Economic impact assessments and expert evidence support for planning matters.

Demand assessments for location-based uses, including retail, medical, entertainment, fuel, industrial, residential, commercial,



short-term accommodation and related sectors.

Site inspections, trade area analysis, catchment profiling, supply audits and competitor mapping.

Sales, demand, floorspace, employment and other analytical models to support client decisions.

Maps, tables, graphics and succinct written outputs that convert complex data into clear advice.

Client contact, proposal inputs and collaboration with senior team members on methodology and project direction. What we are looking for

Several years of relevant experience, preferably in property economics, retail analysis, land economics, development advisory, planning economics, property advisory or a related consulting environment.

A solid understanding of property markets, development drivers, location decisions and the commercial realities that shape client decisions.

Strong analytical skills, including advanced spreadsheet capability and confidence working with demographic, market, property and spatial datasets.

Familiarity with the use of AI in undertaking project research tasks.

Experience with GIS or spatial analysis (MapInfo, QGIS, ArcGIS, or other) would be highly regarded but is not essential if the candidate has strong adjacent technical skills.

Clear, concise report writing, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings in plain English.

Good judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing workstreams in a small-team environment.
