We work closely with industry partners and government bodies to translate discoveries into real-word impact. This role will specifically be working within the School of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences.

About the role:

This Lecturer position plays a key role in shaping high‑quality learning experiences across undergraduate and postgraduate Exercise and Nutrition Science programs. You’ll lead unit teaching teams, design inclusive curricula, and deliver research‑informed teaching that drives student success. Alongside your teaching, you’ll build a strong research profile through impactful, solution‑focused projects and collaborative industry partnerships that translate evidence into real‑world outcomes.

As a Lecturer in Exercise and Sports Science, you will:

- Lead unit teaching teams to deliver high‑quality, inclusive learning experiences.
- Design engaging curricula,



assessments and learning resources informed by deep discipline expertise.
- Integrate industry, clinical and research practice into student learning and success.
- Initiate and conduct impactful, solution‑focused research with industry and interdisciplinary partners.
- Contribute to a collaborative, excellence‑driven academic culture through teaching, research and engagement.

To be successful, you’ll have:

- A PhD in a relevant discipline and strong experience in exercise and sport science teaching.
- A demonstrated record of innovative, high‑quality curriculum design and student‑centred learning.
- An emerging research profile with quality publications and/or success in external funding.
- The ability to lead and contribute to research, industry engagement and academic administration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to build strong, collaborative working relationships.
