This position is apermanent part time opportunity (3-4 days per week) and we are seeking a suitable candidate to support our finance function.
About the role
As theAccounts Officer, you will support NewPsych’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and timely processing.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing accounts receivable, including invoicing, receipting and follow-up of outstanding account.
- Managing accounts payable, including processing supplier invoices and payments
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting finance reporting and general administration tasks
- Responding to internal finance queries in a timely and professional manner
- Working with internal systems to ensure accurate data entry and financial integrity

What you will bring
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounts payable/receivable or bookkeeping role
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping or finance. Minimum Quals – Diploma or Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
- A keen eye for detail and strong numerical accuracy
- The ability to exercise initiative and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound computer literacy, including accounting systems and Excel
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Experience in amedical or allied health environment is desirable, but not essential.
