About the Role
As a Specialist Vehicle Manufacturing Technician, you'll become part of a highly skilled team responsible for transforming standard vehicles into premium custom-built solutions.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Depending on your skills and experience, you'll work across multiple areas of the manufacturing process while continuing to develop new capabilities.
Specialist vehicle manufacturing combines more than 40 different trade disciplines. We're not looking for someone who knows everything—we're looking for great people who can contribute their skills while continuing to learn and grow with our team.
We're open to experienced tradespeople, skilled technicians, apprentices and motivated individuals with the right attitude who are eager to learn.
Your Responsibilities
Depending on your skills, experience and interests, you may be involved in one or more of the following areas:
- Custom vehicle fit-outs and final assembly
- Campervan, motorhome and commercial vehicle conversions
- Cabinet making and furniture installation
- Timber, laminate and specialist flooring installation
- MIG and TIG welding
- Metal fabrication and sheet metal work
- Fibreglass and composite fabrication and repairs
- 12V and 240V electrical installations
- Plumbing and water systems
- Automotive accessories and vehicle upgrades
- CNC machining and manufacturing
- Upholstery and interior trimming
- CAD drafting, design and technical drawing interpretation
- Preparing workshop drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Vehicle inspections, testing and quality control
- Customer consultations and technical sales support
- Installing windows, ventilation, awnings and vehicle accessories
- Diagnosing and solving manufacturing challenges
- Maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout every build
- Working closely with our production team to continually improve our products, systems and manufacturing processes
About You
We're building a team of people who are passionate about creating exceptional vehicles and continually improving their skills.
You don't need experience in every area below. If you bring expertise in one or more disciplines and have the right attitude, we'll help you develop the rest.
We're interested in people with experience in one or more of the following:
- Specialist vehicle fit-outs
- Campervan and RV manufacturing
- Cabinet making and joinery
- MIG and TIG welding
- Metal fabrication and sheet metal work
- Fibreglass and composite manufacturing
- Automotive electrical (12V)
- A-Grade electrical (240V)
- Plumbing and water systems
- Flooring installation
- Upholstery and trimming
- CAD drafting and design
- Technical drawing and documentation
- CNC machining
- Mechanical assembly
- Vehicle accessories and installations
- Technical sales and customer consultation
- Quality control and inspections
- Manufacturing and production
- General trade or construction experience
The ideal person will:

Trade qualifications are highly regarded but are not essential. We value attitude, workmanship and a willingness to learn just as highly as experience.
