They are now seeking a Senior Client Manager to take ownership of a significant client portfolio while leading and developing a small team. This is a hands-on, client-facing leadership role where you’ll provide strategic advice, drive team performance and contribute to ongoing business growth.
The Role:
- Manage a diverse client portfolio across tax, compliance and advisory
- Provide strategic business and financial advice to support client growth
- Lead client meetings, presentations and ongoing relationship management
- Ensure compliance with Australian tax and accounting standards
- Mentor and develop a team of 2–4 junior accountants
- Drive workflow efficiency, productivity and team KPI performance
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Work within a modern, cloud-based environment (Xero and digital systems)
About You:
- 4+ years’ experience in Australian public practice (including leadership responsibilities)
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
- Strong technical capability across tax, compliance and advisory
- Proficient in Xero and cloud-based accounting platforms
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused
- Australian PR or citizenship required
