We are currently seeking experienced Aged Care Chefs to join our team in Brisbane.

What you will have:

- Previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen workplace
- Previous experience in aged care cookery
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
- A valid driver's licence
- Flexibility to work shifts typically scheduled Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, noting that hours may vary depending on the site.

- Ability to provide or obtain a valid Police Check
- Working With Children Check (Blue Card) is highly regarded, but not strictly needed.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience catering to a range of nutritional needs.
- Ability to independently prepare and cook meals for a small group of residents.
- Experience working with care teams to meet individual dietary needs, including allergies,



intolerances and cultural preferences.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards, WHS requirements and safe food-handling practices.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine care and compassion for the wellbeing of residents.

Uniform: White long-sleeved Chef jacket, chef pants, knives, apron, chef hat, safety shoes
