Apply Now The role An Australian government client is moving from Red Hat OpenStack Platform onto Red Hat OpenStack Services on OpenShift and needs a senior consultant who has genuinely done this before. This is not a platform babysitting role. You will be one of the people the client leans on to get the migration path right, to work through what breaks between versions, and to keep the environment stable while it changes underneath them.

The work is hands-on, the timeline is real, and the decisions you make will stick. What we need you to have done before Strong working knowledge of RHOSO 18 in a production or near-production setting.

OpenStack across versions 16 through 18, with actual experience on v18.

OpenStack upgrade experience, ideally an upgrade to v18. This one is not negotiable. We know it narrows the field considerably, and that is precisely why the client is asking for it. If you have run one of these end-to-end, you are a small group of people in this country, and we would like to talk to you.

Comfort operating in a controlled government setting, where change goes through process, and nothing gets rushed just because you would rather it did.

Requirements Australian citizenship.

Active NV1, or eligibility to obtain one. A currently held NV1 will move you to the front of the queue given the start timing.

Availability to start as soon as possible. Allow two to four weeks for onboarding before the work properly begins.

Remote is fine. We care about the work, not the postcode.
