We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist to join a high-performing Finance Projects and Systems team supporting a Federal Government client.

This is an exciting chance for an experienced data and reporting professional to apply their analytical skills across financial reporting, business intelligence, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will transform complex data into meaningful insights, develop reporting solutions, and support improved decision making through effective use of analytics and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, transform and interpret data to produce meaningful metrics, insights and reporting outputs.
- Develop and maintain business and technical reports, including requirements gathering, design, testing and implementation.
- Analyse data using statistical techniques to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate complex data concepts into clear, accessible information for stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy.




- Support reporting automation initiatives and enhance the use of data warehouse capabilities.
- Create and maintain documentation including procedures, user guides, manuals and reference materials.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions aligned with organisational priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience using SAS , including:
- SAS Enterprise Guide
- SAS Viya
- SAS Visual Analytics
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex SQL programs.
- Experience using Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as:
- Power BI (Desktop and Enterprise)
- Tableau
- Business Objects
- Equivalent BI platforms
- Experience working with reporting requirements, data analysis and dashboard development.
- Experience working within Federal Government environments (highly desirable).
- Experience with NDIS-related programs or environments (highly desirable).
- SAP experience, particularly the Public Sector Collections & Disbursements (PSCD) module (highly desirable).
- Knowledge of Git, Bitbucket and SourceTree.
- Knowledge of Snowflake (highly desirable).
