About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and caring Senior Dental Assistant to join our team in a senior role. Whether you're after full-time or part-time hours, we're happy to be flexible for the right candidate with the right attitude as our culture is important to us!

You will be working alongside our supportive leadership team, Practice Manager, and fellow Dental practitioner’s and support staff, as we work together to achieve our goal of providing quality patient care.

In this role you will be:

- Assisting with training and development of more junior staff
- Preparing and setting up surgeries before and after appointments
- Chairside assisting and supporting during dentist treatments




- Working with the Sterilisation team to ensure instruments are sterilised, packaged, and ready for use in line with strict infection control protocols
- Taking and processing X-rays where licensed to do so
- Ensuring every patient feels comfortable and at ease throughout their visit
- Documenting treatment notes and assisting with laboratory communication
- Providing post-operative care instructions and supporting patients following treatment

About You

- Passion for dental care and client service
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Commitment to providing a warm, high-quality, patient-centred care
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliability and a genuine passion for the industry
