Company Description: Element 25 is an ASX-listed company who owns the world-class Butcherbird Manganese Mine in Western Australia, Australia’s largest onshore manganese resource.
Element 25 is committed to operating a safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operation that will utilise technology and data to ensure that the mining operation is performing in the most efficient manner possible.
Element 25 intends to implement a technology strategy that follows its Pit-to-Port business model and associated systems architecture. The ERP system is an essential part of our Pit-to Port model, and having recently implemented the Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations modules, the next key phases in the program of works will be the design, development and integration of the Supply Chain, Production Control and Asset Management functions.
About The Role:
Element 25 are currently seeking a Dynamics 365 professional to play a key role in supporting the implementation of the key applications and systems required to fully deliver on our Pit-to-Port strategy.
The Senior D365 Professional will be a Supply Chain & Digital Solutions Lead to support the design, configuration, testing, implementation and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;) across Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Inventory Management and Maintenance Operations.
The role will also be responsible for supporting the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, AI-enabled capabilities,
enterprise integrations and data solutions to create a connected operational and analytical landscape across mining, maintenance, finance and corporate systems.
In this role you will work closely with operational stakeholders, project teams, implementation partners and software vendors to ensure that solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable and aligned with the organisation’s digital transformation strategy.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Lead business process mapping workshops to expand on the business requirements and processes while identifying opportunities for automation and optimisation.
- Identify and address technology limitations within current systems and processes.
- Document the resulting functional specifications and assist in the development and customisation of the D365 modules.
- Support implementation of Microsoft Fabric data architecture.
- Develop and validate operational reporting dashboards and work with Business users to define KPI frameworks and support the adoption of AI-driven analytics, forecasting and modelling.
- Conduct architectural reviews to ensure alignment with security and compliance standards.
- Work closely with our Microsoft Partners on complex scoping and solution design.
- Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of requirements gathering and testing to ensure that the technical solutions align with business needs.
- Ensure documentation, such as solution architecture, configuration guides, as-builts and test plans are maintained throughout.
- Support integration architecture and testing between D365 and key mining systems and applications. Troubleshoot application and integration issues and deliver timely resolutions.
- Lead, develop and execute comprehensive testing, data migration, defect management, operational readiness planning.
- Manage deployments and monitor system performance post-go-live that includes cutover and hyper care planning and activities.
- Manage and review modules and licenses to ensure fit for purpose assignments.
About You: You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Energetic 365 performing the roles and responsibilities mentioned above.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Possess the skills and experience necessary to Support solution design and configuration for the required D365 functions that includes, Asset Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Asset Maintenance, Work Orders, Resource Scheduling and Spare Parts Management.
- Have full lifecycle ERP implementation experience, which includes implementing and working with:
- - The D365 functions specified above within the mining, resources, heavy industry, or manufacturing sectors.
- Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, and Azure Integration Services.
- Integrations that utilise APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform and
- Configuration, testing and deployment expertise.
