Coast Smoke Alarms is one of South East Queensland's leading smoke alarm compliance companies. We're growing and looking for a licensed electrician to join our team servicing the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and North Brisbane.

What We Offer

- Salary package of $80,000–$90,000, depending on experience

- Fully maintained company vehicle and fuel card

- iPad and all equipment provided

- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

- No weekend work

- Full training in smoke alarm legislation and our systems

About the Role

You'll work independently attending residential properties to inspect, service, fault-find and install smoke alarms, helping keep Queensland homes safe and compliant with current legislation.

Every day is different. You'll visit multiple properties, diagnose faults, liaise with tenants, homeowners and property managers, and ensure each property is compliant with Queensland smoke alarm legislation.

You'll manage your own day while being supported by an experienced office team who keep everything running smoothly.





What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing a quality job and genuinely enjoys providing excellent customer service.

You'll have:

- Current Queensland Electrical Licence

- Current Driver Licence

- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Great attention to detail

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- A professional, reliable and positive attitude

- The ability to adapt when schedules change or unexpected issues arise

- Good physical fitness for ladder work and carrying equipment

Experience with smoke alarms is an advantage but not essential. If you're a licensed electrician with a great attitude, we'll provide full training in our systems, products and Queensland smoke alarm legislation.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates with smoke alarm industry experience will be highly regarded and remunerated accordingly.
