Position

Due to continued growth and strong market demand, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Hire Controller to join the team at Seven Hills.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys being at the centre of daily operations. You will play a key role in coordinating equipment hire, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.

Working Hours

- Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
- Rotating Saturdays (penalty rates apply: time and a half and double time)

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage equipment hire bookings, allocations, and returns
- Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical support
- Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and recommend suitable solutions
- Maintain accurate hire records, contracts, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Support general branch operations and assist the wider team as required





This role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

- Market-competitive salary package ($70,000 - $75,000) + super

Candidate Profile

To be considered, you will have experience as a Hire Controller, Service Coordinator, or in a similar role within the construction or equipment hire industry.

You will be:

- Experienced in scheduling/planning/maintanence
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A proactive problem-solver who can think on your feet
- In possession of a valid driver's licence
- Holding full Australian working rights
