We're seeking a reliable and detail-focused Warehouse Storeperson to join a specialised distribution operation. This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering stable Monday to Friday hours, plus the opportunity to earn additional income through participation in a rotating on-call roster.
About the Role
Working within a fast-paced and highly regulated warehouse environment, you'll be responsible for accurately picking, packing and dispatching customer orders while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and accuracy.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in getting things right the first time and understands the importance of attention to detail.
Standard Hours
- Full time permanent position
- Monday to Friday
- 38 hours per week
- Flexible start times (open 6am to 6pm)
On-Call Requirement (Essential)
This is a mandatory requirement of the role and applicants should carefully consider whether this suits their lifestyle before applying.
One week each fortnight you will participate in an on-call roster. During your nominated week, you may receive customer orders at any time, including:
- Evenings
- Public holidays
Should a call-out occur, you will be required to:
- Attend site within 1 to 2 hours
- Pick and prepare urgent customer orders
- Arrange transport requirements
- Return home once the order has been completed
In return, you will receive:
- $340 on-call allowance for your rostered week
- Travel time payments when called out
- Overtime rates for all hours worked during call-outs
What You'll Need
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable attendance and solid work ethic
- Ability to commit to the rotating on-call roster
- Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
