Description

Buildcorp’s New Build team delivers complex, high-quality construction projects that demand innovation, collaboration, and precision. We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team who can bring accuracy, commercial insight and technical capability to some of the most challenging and rewarding projects.

You’ll work closely with a strong network of subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders and be supported by an industry leading team of construction industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete initial tender assessments, evaluating all project aspects, risks and opportunities.
- Produce accurate trade break-ups and secure solid market coverage through your subcontractor relationships.
- Conduct regular meetings with key subcontractors to obtain competitive, accurate pricing.




- Prepare detailed cost plans for internal review.
- Lead the preparation of handover packages and budgets for successful tenders.
- Collaborate with internal bid teams on program, budget inputs, value engineering and alternate solutions.
- Support and coach estimators, contributing to team capability and performance.

Skills And Experiences

About you

- Demonstrated experience in estimating or cost planning with proven success.
- Strong network of subcontractors and suppliers in relevant trades.
- Ability to evaluate risk and opportunity in pricing assessments.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Buildsoft or CostX.
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
- A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or similar.
