The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Senior Financial Accountant position will play a key role in the finance function, taking ownership of month-end reporting, statutory compliance and group reporting activities. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, process improvement initiatives and strategic business projects within a growing global organisation.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the delivery of consolidated monthly financial reporting across multiple international entities.
- Prepare month-end journals, general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting to support statutory and management requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement of financial processes, controls and reporting efficiencies, including automation initiatives.




- Assist with the provision of financial information and analysis for business acquisitions, due diligence and strategic projects.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and collaborate with international finance teams.
- Research and interpret accounting standards, providing guidance on technical accounting matters when required.
- Coordinate external audit requirements and act as a key liaison with auditors to ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
- Support tax compliance activities across a global group structure.
- Contribute to various finance projects and ad hoc initiatives as the business continues to evolve.

The Candidate

- CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- Proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar position.
- Strong technical accounting and consolidated reporting expertise.
- Experience working within a global business environment
- Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP systems experience.
- Exposure to external audits and statutory reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and implement efficiencies.
- Experience with acquisitions, due diligence or finance transformation projects will be highly regarded.
