About the Opportunity This role leads the strategic development and implementation of health and safety programs across multiple projects nationally. Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, oversee high-level risk assessments, and guide safety audits across the business. You will build a strong safety-first culture, lead complex incident investigations, and report directly to executive management on performance and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Set strategy and direction for enterprise-wide safety programs
- Lead risk management and mitigation across the organisation
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and industry standards
- Drive safety culture through coaching and stakeholder engagement
- Lead complex incident investigations and corrective actions
- Manage and develop health and safety teams
- Report performance metrics and governance to executive teams
Required Skills
- Degree in OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or related
- Advanced WHS qualification (Advanced Diploma or postgraduate)
- Extensive experience managing multi-site safety operations
- Solid track record leading incident investigations and audits
- Current driver's licence for travel as required
