Executive Assistant to the CEOLocal Kitchen Co Group | Brooklyn Park, Adelaide | Full-time
About the Role
Local Kitchen Co is one of South Australia's fastest-growing food businesses.
We cook fresh and frozen ready-made meals, gourmet salads and desserts from scratch, and sell them through five stores, a booming delivery channel, and thousands of customers every week.
Our sixth store opens at the Adelaide Central Market this November. We're looking for a high-calibre Executive Assistant to be the right hand to our Founder and CEO.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggles competing priorities with ease, and loves working alongside a warm, driven team.
Alongside executive support, the role carries some general office and operations coordination.
Day to Day
- Provide proactive executive support to the CEO, including diary management, scheduling, and coordinating internal and external engagements.
- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, presentations and briefing materials for a range of stakeholders.
- Turn quick notes and voice memos into sharp, on-brand copy that sounds like us.
- Support day-to-day office and operations coordination, including vendor liaison and keeping things running smoothly across the HQ.
- Coordinate travel end to end, itineraries and logistics for domestic and international trips that simply work.
- Plan and coordinate meetings, events and team activities, and make sure they land seamlessly.
- Be a trusted point of contact between the CEO, our leadership team, and the people we work with, always with discretion.
- Anticipate what's needed, tidy the loose ends before they become problems, and find better ways to do things.
You’ll Need
- Proven experience supporting senior executives or founders, ideally in a fast-paced, hands-on business.
- Strong organisation and follow-through, the kind where nothing slips.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You get tone, not just spelling.
- A high level of discretion and professionalism.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach, and the confidence to work independently.
- Confident using AI tools to work smarter, drafting, summarising, research and automation, and always looking for ways to save time and lift the quality of what we do.
- A warm, engaging personality with the ability to hold your own in a high-energy environment.
- A current driver's licence and your own transport.
- Confident across Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A special interest in social media, filming or content planning is a real bonus, and a chance to get involved as we grow the brand.
Culture & Perks
Work directly with the Founder and have your fingerprints on the growth.
Join a collaborative, driven team that cares about the detail and makes good food we're proud of.
Exposure to a genuinely diverse role across brand, operations, and the business behind it.
Room to grow as we do.
