The Prospect We're partnering with a major government organisation based in Parramatta to find an experienced Senior Employee Communications Advisor, with a focus on supporting a key internal project.

About The Role You'll develop and deliver strategic employee communication plans, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to promote the organisation's culture, manage issues, and support major internal initiatives. You'll play a key role in crisis and issues communication, employee engagement strategy, and internal event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and delivery of employee communication and engagement strategies
- Develop and implement group communication strategies for major internal projects, including messaging, Q&As; and engagement plans
- Provide crisis communication support across multiple stakeholders




- Collaborate with and influence senior leaders to adopt effective employee engagement approaches
- Support delivery of employee events including roadshows, briefings and presentations
- Provide mentoring and technical advice to team members

About You

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior employee communications, strategic communications, or corporate affairs advisor within a large corporation, government department or agency
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering proactive communication and engagement plans
- Strong experience in crisis communication and emergency management communications
- Ability to work independently across fast-moving projects with significant stakeholder engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with core comms tools (MS Office, SharePoint, MS Forms, PowerPoint)
- Experience within construction or utilities sectors highly regarded, though not essential
