Senior Investment Planning Lead | Transport & Infrastructure | Queensland

Our client is a highly regarded engineering consultancy with a strong track record of delivering complex transport infrastructure studies for Transport and Main Roads (TMR) across Queensland. They are seeking a senior leader to drive the winning and delivery of investment planning engagements, with a clear pathway to grow a high-performing team in this space.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine leadership role for someone who has built their career in TMR investment planning and is ready to take ownership of both business development and project delivery. You will lead the pursuit and delivery of Options Analysis, Business Case, Preliminary Evaluation and Business Case studies under TMR's OnQ and Project Assurance Framework (PAF) processes, working across a portfolio that ranges from focused $200k studies through to complex, multi-stage engagements valued at $10m or more.

What You Will Be Doing

- Leading the preparation of tenders and proposals for TMR investment planning opportunities,



including methodology development, resource planning and pricing
- Managing the delivery of OnQ (OA and BC) and PAF (PE and BC) engagements as Study Manager or Project Manager
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with TMR project managers and stakeholders across districts and regions
- Contributing to the strategic growth of the practice

What You Will Bring You are likely 15 to 20 years into your career, with 3 to 5 years of experience leading investment planning studies for TMR in a study or project manager capacity. You have a solid and focused career history in this discipline, a genuine network of TMR contacts, and a track record of successful proposals and well-delivered engagements. RPEQ is required for engineers.

A background in traffic engineering or traffic modelling, TMR Road Safety Auditor accreditation, and established relationships with SEQ councils would all be well regarded.
