Senior Legal Counsel Chance | Global Infrastructure Platform | Sydney A leading global infrastructure business is seeking an experienced banking and finance lawyer on an initial 6 month contract term to join its legal team in a key role to help support their growing business.

This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated financing transactions that underpin the development of critical infrastructure and next-generation technology platforms. You will play a central role in structuring and executing complex financing arrangements that support the company’s continued growth.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior executives, treasury, and external counsel, you will advise on a broad range of financing matters, including:

- Corporate, project and acquisition finance transactions
- Equipment and asset-backed financings
- Negotiation of facility agreements, security documents and inter-creditor arrangements
- Structuring and execution of new debt facilities and refinancings
- Ongoing support for strategic funding initiatives as the business expands

This is a highly visible role offering direct exposure to major transactions and commercial decision-making.





About You

You will be a senior banking and finance lawyer with:

- 5+ years’ PQE gained in a leading law firm, financial institution or sophisticated in-house team
- Strong experience across general banking, leveraged finance, project finance, infrastructure finance or asset finance
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Sound commercial judgement and a pragmatic approach
- The confidence to work directly with senior stakeholders on high-value transactions
