Catholic Early EdCare – Sydney Southern Suburbs NSW

St Paul's OSHC is seeking a passionate and motivated OSHC Coordinator to lead our newly established service.

Licensed for up to 42 children, the service has already opened its doors and is quickly building strong connections with children, families and the wider school community.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a small, dedicated team of educators and help shape the culture, programs and direction of the service as it continues to grow. Operating After School Care (3:00pm - 6:00pm), you'll create a safe, engaging and inclusive environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

This is a permanent part time opportunity (20 hours per week, term-time only).

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day operation of the After School Care program.
- Mentor, support and inspire a team of educators.
- Plan and deliver engaging, child-focused experiences that support wellbeing and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff and the parish community.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and quality standards.
- Foster a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the growth and success of the service.

Job Requirements

- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards,



and My Time Our Place.
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
