Thursday, November 14, 2024 The Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AUASB) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and implementation of Australia's sustainability and financial reporting assurance landscape and offers attractive career development prospects.

3-year contract | Full time or part-time flexible | Melbourne (preferred) - other locations considered | Hybrid work arrangements | Travel may be required

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in the development of technical sustainability and financial reporting assurance standards and guidance under the AUASB’s work program
- Manage and deliver implementation and education materials and activities on sustainability and financial reporting assurance
- Lead project stakeholder engagement and outreach activities
- Contribute to ongoing engagement with international and national standard setters
- Manage staff working on projects led
- Contribute to the strategic direction of sustainability and financial reporting assurance

Qualifications And Experience

- Seven plus years of relevant experience in auditing/assurance over financial and/or sustainability information




- Understands Australian auditing and assurance standards and their practical application
- Awareness of financial and sustainability reporting requirements in current and proposed legislation and standards
- Proven analytical and communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Qualification in auditing/accounting and/or sustainability assurance/reporting
