About the role

We are partnering with a leading retail client to find a talented .NET Engineer with solid experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions while working across modern Azure integration and platform services.

You will work closely with solution architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams to develop robust applications, modernise existing systems, and deliver cloud-first solutions using Microsoft's technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Build and support cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services
- Develop and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)
- Create serverless solutions using Azure Functions and workflow integrations using Logic Apps
- Implement messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus
- Work with Azure Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, and cloud-based data services
- Implement secure authentication using Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID)
- Support application monitoring and performance optimisation using Application Insights and Azure Monitor
- Collaborate with architects,



developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core
- Strong hands-on experience building solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Azure PaaS & IaaS services, including:
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure Storage Accounts
- Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
- Azure Key Vault
- Application Insights & Azure Monitor
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and modern cloud engineering practices will be highly regarded.
