Glenlock Beef & Bacon is committed to responsibly producing high quality beef and bacon sustainably. We are currently seeking a Senior Piggery Stockperson to work on our farm located at Taylorville (near Waikerie in South Australia’s Riverland).

Working in our new and modern farrowing shed, equipped with freedom farrowing crates, we are progressive 450 sow piggery, looking for a Senior Piggery Stockperson to join our team.

Reporting to the Piggery Manager, but also working closely with other piggery staff, this role will undertake the following responsibilities:

1. Carry out the day to day operations associated with the breeding, gestation, farrowing and growth of high quality piglets, in accordance with supply contracts, contractual Key Performance Indicators and quality assurance standards.

2. Ensuring the health and welfare of all pigs in terms of feed and water management, nutrition, medication and workplace.
- Data entry and keeping production records using dedicated software(s), including Elite Herd Mobile, to facilitate the timely distribution of required information and reports.
- Maintaining and enforcing all bio-security rules and practices to safeguard the life and health of the pigs,



and ensure all other employees and visitors are also in compliance.
- Any other duties as required.

The successful applicant will be required to work on rostered weekends and public holidays.

Experience in intensive pig production will be highly regarded.
