Description:
We currently have a Production Manager position available for an immediate start.
As a Production Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets.
- Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives.
- Managing, coaching, and developing production teams to drive performance and operational excellence.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health & safety, food safety, quality standards, and company policies.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
We're looking for someone who brings energy, initiative and a genuine passion for leading production teams.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience managing warehouse, logistics or distribution operations.
- Forklift Licence required.
- A hands‑on leadership style and the ability to build credibility on the warehouse floor.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching and developing teams.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of improving operational performance.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience working in FMCG, fresh produce, food manufacturing, logistics or a similar fast‑paced environment is highly regarded.
- Sound computer skills and experience using warehouse or ERP systems.
