We're partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Platform Engineer to support the delivery and ongoing operation of critical enterprise infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team responsible for maintaining and modernising core platform services through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You'll play a key role in building secure, reliable and highly available on-premises infrastructure while driving continuous improvement across the platform setting.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing, implementing and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools
- Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and operational processes
- Administering and supporting Windows Server, VMware and enterprise platform technologies
- Managing enterprise hardware, virtual infrastructure and SAN storage environments
- Supporting infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology refresh initiatives
- Monitoring platform performance, security and availability, and resolving complex technical issues
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, standards and operational procedures
- Collaborating with internal technology teams to deliver reliable, secure and resilient platform services




- Identifying opportunities to improve automation, operational efficiency and platform reliability

About you:

- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Engineer within enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell DSC or similar
- Experience automating infrastructure deployments and operational processes
- Strong experience supporting Windows Server, VMware, enterprise hardware and SAN storage
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams
- Experience working within ITIL or structured operational environments is highly regarded

Requirements:

- Australian Citizenship is required.
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments will be highly regarded.
