Areas of Interest Property Management

Location(s) Perth - Western Australia - Australia

CBRE manages a premium portfolio of commercial and retail assets on behalf of IFM Investors, one of Australia's leading institutional landlords. We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our Perth team and take their first steps into institutional-grade property management.

This is a role built for someone earlier in their career who is hungry to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to be developed into a well-rounded property professional. You will be supported by an experienced, collaborative team from day one.

In This Role, You Will

- Support the management of a mixed commercial and retail portfolio, learning the full lifecycle of institutional property management
- Build relationships with landlords, tenants, facilities managers, and external stakeholders under the guidance of senior team members
- Assist with lease administration, tenancy schedules, and critical date management
- Support budget preparation, financial reporting, and outgoings reconciliations
- Help coordinate property inspections, compliance obligations, and day-to-day asset administration
- Contribute to rent review and lease renewal processes, gaining hands-on exposure to commercial negotiations

About You

You do not need to have worked in commercial property before. What matters is that you are organised, commercially curious, and genuinely motivated to build a career in property management.

- A background with transferable skills, whether that is real estate sales or agency administration, strata management, facilities coordination, or a related field
- Holds a current WA Real Estate Licence or Registration, or is actively working toward one

- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers across financial reports and budgets
- A natural communicator who builds rapport easily and manages competing priorities without dropping the ball
- Eager to learn, open to feedback, and ready to back yourself in a professional environment

Why CBRE?

- A genuine launchpad into institutional property management, with structured training and mentorship from day one
- Work on a premium IFM Investors portfolio that will give you exposure well beyond what most entry-level roles can offer
- Clear career development pathways within one of the world's largest real estate businesses, with real scope to grow
- Industry-leading parental leave and a advantages program covering financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing, Qantas flight discounts, and paid volunteer days
- Annual recognition programs celebrating excellence at both a Pacific and national level

Can we inspire you to join us?

At CBRE, our unwavering commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion begins with you. We are strengthening our inclusive culture, so everyone feels safe, valued, and heard. Because when you belong, we all succeed.

We welcome and encourage First Nations People to apply. Be inspired to elevate your career to new heights. We look forward to hearing from you! #WeAreCBRE
