Our client, a leading domestic bank, is looking for a CRE/Property credit risk specialist to play a key role in assessing and managing credit risk across a portfolio of real estate clients. Partnering closely with Relationship Managers and Risk teams, you'll help drive sound, balanced lending decisions across Real Estate and Complex transactions — and build your credit judgement in a business that values disciplined, practical risk thinking.

What You'll Be Doing

- Reviewing credit proposals and identifying key risks within the real estate portfolio

- Making informed credit decisions within your delegated authority

- Building strong relationships across the business and providing clear guidance on risk

- Partnering with Relationship Managers and Risk teams to shape credit strategy





- Monitoring portfolio performance and spotting emerging risks early

- Contributing practical, balanced solutions to credit and risk challenges

- Championing a consistent, disciplined risk culture

What You’ll Bring

- Experience assessing, managing and decisioning credit risk, ideally with strong Real Estate exposure

- Familiarity with the Australian and/or Current Zealand real estate markets is a plus (not essential)

- Strong analytical skills and sound, balanced judgement under pressure

- Confidence operating within delegated authority on higher-value transactions

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations

- A collaborative, proactive approach to managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
